THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF NEMEA AND THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE
The Archaeological Museum of Nemea is located in Ancient Nemea and is part of the archaeological site of the sanctuary of Nemean Zeus. It was built with the financial contribution of the Americans and its donation to the Greek state was made in 1984. The museum houses findings dating from the Early Helladic to the Early Christian period that come from ancient Nemea, Kleones, Fliountas and the Mycenaean cemetery of Aedonia, from where the golden grave goods of the 15th century B.C. stand out.

In a nearby area, the visitor can see the Ancient Stadium of Nemea, the site that held the Nemean Games in the ancient times and keeps holding them to this day. Information on the operation of the museum :
