This 62 km long running race is organized by the AETHLIOS. Runners begin from Nemea and finish at Levidi (62 km), and the race is held every two years.
Aethlius was the first king of ancient Elis in the area of Olympia. He was the son of Zeus or Aeolus and Protogeneia. It is reported that Aethlios was honored by almost all Greek cities as the patron saint of games and festivals. More info:
